Thank you to you all who
have used our eco products and given myself
and Mary Playford such positive feedback.

To make the refilling of the Bio Washing Up
Liquid 750mls and the Bio All Purpose Sanitiser 500mls, the 5 litre refill containers are in the
cupboard under the sink on the right-hand side. They have a pump that you can use, which makes it easier.
I have also purchased larger containers of these [20 litres] and they are kept in the projection room on the first floor. They too have a pump dispenser for easier refills.
We also have the Bio Toilet Cleaner 750mls, and a refill 5 Litre container up in the
projection room too.
I will be checking all these on a weekly basis, but if you find any of these low, please feel
free to let me know and I am happy to deal with this.
Also just to let you know that we should use less of eco products because they are more
concentrated. I think some of you have found this out already with the washing up liquid!
If anyone knows of any other things, we can do to grow our eco status please feel free to let
myself or Mary know.
Being a Silver Eco Church is such a great achievement, and we would like to thank all of
you for your commitment and being on this journey as a church.
This is something to be proud of, each and every one of us.
Linda Baxter and Mary Playford
Eco Church:-
An update on where things are so far.
We have done the questionnaire and scored well for a Silver
To date we have achieved the introduction of cleaning products, such as washing up liquid, spray surface sanitizer, and toilet cleaner. All these are ecofriendly. Just note that you only need a small amount of washing up liquid,
or you will be doing a lot of rinsing off!
Thanks to Dan Gurney and the Whole food shop Bonitas and owners Ollie and Tree who have been extremely helpful in their advice and support.

We have now purchased these in 5L containers so we can do refills for these products. We are also exploring other products such as hand sanitizer.
If you have any other items that you know of, please talk with me, Mary Playford or
Dan Gurney.
Anne Scarff has informed me that we are hoping to sign up with an Energy Company that supplies 100% renewable electricity.
Lastly under the section of Worship we have had a couple of services on God’s world and how we care for it. Mary Playford’s service gave a lot of guidance to the Eco Church questionnaire and how we can do our part as a church to care for God’s world.
This Sunday Mary also presented to Junior Church the about Caring for God’s world. Michaela and Catherine worked with both Ethan and Jack to do the activities. I had sourced rubbish {black bin} and recyclable {green bin} items and they made a poster to go on their board in the Fison Hall.
All in all we are becoming active in our goals to be an Eco friendly church and we thank all of you for your support and commitment.
